Growing Systems
All our berries are grown in tunnels.
This growing system employs Hydroponic horticulture technology. Hydroponic berry growing systems revolutionize traditional agriculture by cultivating berries without soil, relying on nutrient-rich water solutions to nourish plants.
These innovative systems offer precise control over environmental factors. The closed system recaptures and reuses nutrient-filled water, minimising the nutrient and chemical inputs that have to be made. It optimises growth conditions, resulting in higher yields of flavourful and nutrient-rich berries.
We grow our berries in eco-friendly coconut fibre. It has excellent water retention capabilities, aeration properties, and natural resistance to diseases. Coconut fibre also promotes healthy plant growth.
The tunnels in which we grow our berries reduce the effects of climatic damage to our berries preventing wind and water damage. This ensures a much more robust yield, regardless of what the weather chooses to do!
